NorthShore of Saugatuck has reapplied for permits from Michigan’s Department of Environment Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) to allow excavation and construction of their proposed marina at the Kalamazoo River Mouth. NorthShore’s original five-year permit from EGLE expired in January. Please join the Coastal Alliance in opposing the permits by attending and speaking at EGLE’s virtual public hearing on July 10 AND by submitting a comment to EGLE by July 20.

Pre-registration is not required – you can use the link to join the meeting when it starts on July 10. When it’s your time to speak, please make the same points you made in your written comment.
