On Monday, October 2, at 5:30 pm in the Township Hall on Blue Star the Saugatuck Township Zoning Board of Appeals will discuss what new evidence will be allowed to be added to the record in the Coastal Alliance appeal of the Special Approval Use Marina proposed by NorthShore of Saugatuck.

 

A third and fourth hearing is then likely for the ZBA to determine whether the Coastal Alliance meets the three criteria necessary to be given standing to argue the merits of its appeal against the Township Planning Commission. The merits of the case center on three ordinances the proposed marina violates.

 

The October 2nd hearing is an in-person meeting and it will also be livestreamed via Zoom;
