Our Ad Campaign Continues – Learn More About Standing and How We Meet the Criteria

The Coastal Alliance has launched a series of public service ads to explain how Coastal Alliance members and partners meet the criteria for standing (Ad #1 What Is Standing?) We’ve been arguing for standing since 2017 and our appeal will be back in front of the Township Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) within the next few months.

As we gear up for the ZBA review, we want to make sure everyone understands the three criteria required for standing – and how our members and partners meet it:

We participated in the challenged proceedings

We can claim some protected interest

We can provide evidence of special damage that’s more significant than what others in the community will likely suffer
