Who Wants a Yard Sign?

If you’ve been following our recent newsletters and ads in the Commercial Record, you know we’re keenly focused on educating people about what it means to have standing and why it’s important.

We’ve launched this campaign because the Allegan County Circuit Court has directed the Saugatuck Township Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) to review new, relevant evidence to determine whether the Coastal Alliance has the standing needed to challenge the permit granted for NorthShore of Saugatuck’s proposed marina. We don’t yet know when the ZBA will hold its hearing – we’re all waiting for the Judge’s written order. We’ll share details as soon as we know more.
